An incident took place on 27/02/18 where a lady tried to kill herself by jumping from the Thoppumpady bridge at mid night 12:30 am and a boy named Jeevan just jumped to save her without bothering and caring for his own life and dragged her to the shore. We Cochin charitable society could not hold ourselves from appreciating the courage and humanity he had. A young man working as an ordinary delivery boy in Chicking just gave a life again to a lady and became an inspiration that no money could buy. His name itself defines all what he is about.
Our Patron Mrs. Subaibath Begum and Joint Secretary Mr. Abdul Azeez Essak Sait honored him in the presence of CCS President Mr. Saleem Shukoor and wished him best because it’s not easy to not to think of ones own life and save some one else’s life. Jeevan is an example of existence of humanity in world.
